Belle (ベル Beru?) is the name shared by both of the Belle twins. They are side characters in the Shadows House series. They work as maids in the house, they're the leaders of one of the cleaning teams and act as the faces of Isabelle and Mirabelle. They aim to be the next Star Bearers.
Appearance[]
The two girls have matching brown low ponytails held with black bows, and yellow eyes. They both wear maid dresses reminiscent of the Victorian style, with dark sleeves and a white apron and skirt. They are always together and rarely ever smile.
Personality[]
The two girls are selfish and rude towards other Living Dolls, especially those in their team, like Rum. They bully their teammates and prefer to let Rum take the blame for things that will affect their team rating while flattering and sucking up to the Star Bearers to make sure they're viewed favorably.
After of the death of one of the Belles, the survivor passes by a hard anguish from the loss of her twin.
Plot[]
Phantom Incident Arc[]
Barbie hits Rum and judges her as the culprit in the phantom mayhem. Emilico begged the Belle Twins to save her because the poor living doll was part of their group. The twins refused because Rum was just bringing trouble to their group. The twins judged the Rum a failure.
The Debut Arc[]
The Belle twins with their mistresses they attended on the ceremony for those who passed the debut.Relationships[]
Isabelle & Mirabelle[]
Like the rest of the Shadows, Isabelle and Mirabelle treat Belles like their dolls and nothing more.
After the loss of one Belle they were frustrated from having to share the remaining one, driving her to tears with their fights. After Kate talked some sense into them, Isabelle and Mirabelle seemingly learned to treat their remaining Belle better.
Emilico[]
Like with everyone else, Belles were mean to Emilico, making fun of her.
After the passing of one Belle, Emilico treated the remaining one with kindness and patience, letting her take her time to grieve the loss of her twin and trying to be friends with her. Belle seemingly appreciated it, as she was shown reading the letters Emilico left her and kept the plush doll she made in her apron pocket. She also jumped in to catch Emilico when she almost passed out, even though she was acting as a "Face" in that moment.
Rum[]
The Belle twins refused to help Rum when she was berated by Barbie. According to Rum herself, they were always mean to her, bullying and belittling her.
Maggie[]
Like the rest of their team, Maggie doesn't seem to like the twins.
Susie[]
The Belle twins were held in high regard by Susie, to the extend that she entrusted them with keeping the coffee safe during the Phantom incident.
Etymology[]
- Belle is a feminine given name meaning "beautiful". It is often used to refer to a beautiful or very attractive young woman.
Trivia[]
- Belle and Belle are identical twins, which means they are unable to be told apart from each other, exactly like their Shadow masters Isabelle and Mirabelle.
