"Another Face" (
Summary[]
Emilico tries to wipe a smudge on the window, only for Kate to open it for her, revealing the smudge was outside. Leaning outside, Emilico looks up to see a fellow Doll cleaning the outer sill of her window, but gets stuck when the window suddenly shuts on her. The two Dolls then exchange greetings. Kate notices Emilico's situation drags her in for her safety. Looking outside again, Emilico notices a pair walking on a stone bridge outside and waves at them, getting the attention of the Doll who simply glares, startling her.
Plot[]
Emilico struggles to clean a smudge on a window only for Kate to suggest the stain is outside to Emilico's shock. After Kate opens the window for her, Emilico sits on the sill, noticing another Living Doll cleaning above her but before she can say anything, the window shuts on her lower half to her surprise. The Doll above notices this and giggles and the two exchange greetings before Emilico is pulled back inside by Kate. Emilico notes that it was the first time a fellow Doll spoke back to her and it occurs to her that she will be able to go outside. Looking out again, Emilico notices a Shadow and Doll walking down a stone bridge which she waves to. The Doll notices her and turns, but simply glares without a word. Kate asks if something is wrong which Emilico denies nervously, wondering to herself if there are different types of Living Dolls.
